The front side of the spear is stained/painted black (along the full length) but leaving the natural brown wood for the side, legs and eyes of the crocodile. The underside of the spear and the crocodiles belly is left in natural wood and nice age patina. The belly of the crocodile is also carved with diamond patterns and the spearhead is carved with diamond patterns and geometric designs (see pictures). Item in very good condition there seems to be some old repairs to the crocodiles front legs and some filled age cracks. Tip of the spear is slightly nibbled. Solid piece.
